About Nick:

Nick Miller is a Melbourne-based artist and Teacher. Working across a range of mediums including drawing, painting, installation, sculpture, photography and writing, Nick creates works that reflect his lived experiences, encompassing themes of pharmaceutical dependency, interconnectedness and the natural sublime.

Nick’s most recent works highlight the utilitarianism of pharmaceutical drug production as well as the routines, connections and dependencies formed when prescribed medication. Spanning the gamut of his own experiences with chronic illness, Nick’s art sways between the sombre and humbling nature of illness, to the playful reality of the daily task of keeping well.

Nick has a Bachelor of Architectural Design and Masters of Teaching. He has exhibited in a range of galleries across Melbourne. Nick explores new technologies with traditional mediums in his art practice.
